Ben, originally from Grass Valley, CA, first entered the veterinary field in high school. His stepdad is a veterinarian, and he worked in his clinic in high school. He attended Sonoma State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. In 2010, Ben became a registered veterinary technician (RVT).

Ben has worked his way up in leadership at PetCare East, working as an overnight ER technician, advancing to a technician manager for nine years before becoming our hospital manager in 2016. Ben loves the familial culture at PetCare East, and he has a passion for emergency/critical care medicine.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in his art studio in Occidental, camping, snowboarding, and living life with his wife and daughter. They have two cats, Pi and Pickles.
