Growing up in Karns, Tennessee, I had the opportunity to be exposed to various different animals through ownership, 4H, and volunteer work. Animals have always been my passion, but it was not until I observed the human animal bond in action that I realized veterinary medicine could allow me to help people. I received my undergraduate at the University of Tennessee and DVM at Lincoln Memorial University. Shortly after graduation, I moved to Kentucky in order to embrace the more rural lifestyle. Some of my passions in veterinary medicine include theriogenology, feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoying reading, managing a hobby farm, and spending time with family.
