Dr. Lisa Hammett grew up in central New Jersey. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her veterinary degree from Tuskegee University. Dr. Hammett moved to Cape May County about 10 years ago and has been practicing in the area since. She has experience in general practice, emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, crazy golden retriever, and extended family. They love being outdoors and enjoying good food together.

She is excited to be joining Abri Animal Hospital and serving the local community.
