Maddi has been in the veterinary field for 11 years, born in Wyoming and traveled around the US before landing in Alaska. She began her career working ER and internal medicine and has worked with exotics and livestock over the years. She has a great passion for surgery, wound care, and end of life care. Maddi has a small homestead that she spends the majority of her time on with her partner, Malinois, two cats and many exotic critters including sheep, tarantulas, and a fat old turtle. She enjoys weekend trips to Homer to go fishing and hiking, reading, and crocheting in her spare time.
