Gillian Lawrence is excited to join the team at VCA Colonial Animal Hospital after graduating from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She completed a rotating year-long intensive internship at a busy hybrid practice in Weymouth, Massachusetts before moving back to Ithaca. Her professional interests lie in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care and Diagnostic Imaging.

Dr. Lawrence is originally from Connecticut, but currently lives in downtown Ithaca with her partner and their Staffordshire Terrier, Opal. She has a soft spot for and personal experience with pets with special behavioral needs. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, drawing, roller skating, and home projects
