Evelyn was born in Alajuela, Costa Rica, and raised in Long Island, New York. Her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age when she wondered why her two beloved dogs didn't live past five years old. This curiosity sparked her interest in animal health and care.
Evelyn earned her certification as a veterinary assistant from Ashworth College and is currently advancing her education to become a registered veterinary technician at Penn Foster. She is dedicated to providing the best care for animals and is enthusiastic about her ongoing studies.
In her free time, Evelyn volunteers at a wildlife sanctuary, spends quality time with her family, explores new foods, crafts, and enjoys watching TV. She shares her home with her partner, John; their doodle, Shamus; and cats, Jasper, Peanut, and Dutton. There is a special place in her heart for her Persian, Moo, who passes away and will forever be missed.
A fun fact about Evelyn is that her favorite animals are raccoons, otters, and ferrets. Her diverse interests and dedication make her a valuable member of our team.
