Born and raised in the vibrant city of Charlotte, NC, Petra has been passionate about animal care from an early age. With over two decades of experience, Petra embarked on her journey in veterinary medicine in 2000 as a dedicated veterinary assistant.

After taking some time away to focus on raising her family, Petra rejoined the veterinary community and became an integral part of the Indian Land Animal Hospital family in 2016. Her wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to animal welfare enriches our team every day.

Outside of work, Petra cherishes spending quality time with her husband and two children. Their home is a lively sanctuary for their beloved pets, including three Chihuahuas, a guinea pig, and a snake. Petra's warmth, expertise, and love for animals make her an invaluable member of our team.
