Dr. Eshuis was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and knew he wanted to be a veterinarian since the 8th grade. He earned a B.S. degree in Zoology before attending Veterinary School at Michigan State University. He began his career as a mixed animal practitioner in Northwest Ohio but fear of becoming a Buckeye fan sent him back to Michigan after 4 years. He then practiced medicine at a small animal practice in Kalamazoo before joining forces with Dr. Rzepka in Marshall in 2000.
He is married and has 3 children, two out of the house, and the youngest a Sophomore at Marshall High School. “Free time” is spent with family, participating in almost any outdoor activity, gardening, reading, and travel.
