Dr. Kaitlin Smith is from the Sierra Valley, just northwest of the Reno-Sparks area. She left California to pursue her Bachelor's degree at the University of Chicago and worked for several years as a veterinary assistant, where she developed her passion for veterinary medicine. Kaitlin joins Baring Boulevard Animal Hospital after recently graduating from the University of Tennessee with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include veterinary radiology, oncology, dermatology, and feline medicine.
In her spare time, she enjoys painting, yoga, baking and hiking with her dog. She spends most of her time with her family, friends and fur-babies, Boris and Gustav.
