Vanessa was born and raised in the Bay Area. Since she was a child, she has always had a deep love for animals. This passion led her to pursue her education at Carrington College, where she graduated in 2015. Becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in 2016, she embarked on a fulfilling journey at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists (BAVS), where she has dedicated the past six years to caring for furry companions.
Her natural inclination to share knowledge and teach others has been a source of joy, leading her to become the ICU lead in 2020, guiding and inspiring her colleagues in the process. Working in the ICU has always been her calling, and there's nothing more fulfilling for her than providing care and support to animals during their most vulnerable moments.
Yorkies hold a special place in her heart, and she hopes to have one again as her furry companion someday. For now, their family Quaker parrot Polly brings companionship into her life. Additionally, she finds great satisfaction in raising neonatal kittens, creating a nurturing environment for these tiny beings. Apart from caring for animals, she enjoys the outdoors and traveling.
