Erica was born in the Philippines to a military family. She is the eldest of 8 children. She moved to Alaska from Florida in 1995 and has resided in Wasilla ever since. She graduated from Wasilla High School and started a family of her own that includes 2 sons and a hound dog named Lady. After working as a graphic designer for a few years, she was hired on at VCA Big Lake in 2013. The aspects of working in the veterinary field that Erica enjoys most are helping people and their pets, seeing traumas repaired, and the wide variety of animals treated here. In her off time, Erica loves to play fantasy adventure video games, horseback riding, and cooking.
