Lyz joined our VCA Care team in 2020. As an animal lover, she has spent more than 15 years building her career as a veterinary technician. Her heart is in emergency medicine and critical care. Welcoming her new role in 2023 as the hospital manager at VCA Care, she strives to build VCA Care into a thriving, boutique hospital to support the Santa Barbara community. When she isn't working, Lyz spends her time enjoying beach walks and seeking out beautiful sunsets, hiking with her dogs, riding her horse, spending much needed quality time with her daughter, and finding the little things to enjoy in each day.
