With a lifelong passion for animals and a deep commitment to their well-being, Dr. Crawford is devoted to providing first-rate veterinary care for both pets and their families. Growing up in the Bay Area, she earned her bachelor’s degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before graduating with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences.
After veterinary school, Dr. Crawford sought to enhance her skills through a one-year small-animal rotating internship at VCA Encina Veterinary Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA. This experience fueled her desire to help animals, leading her to specialize in emergency and critical care medicine before joining VCA Contra Costa Animal Hospital in 2013.
Since then, Dr. Crawford has served as the primary veterinarian and medical director of VCA Contra Costa Animal Hospital. Recently, she has shifted her focus to ophthalmology, non-invasive ultrasound diagnostics, and comprehensive wellness care for pets of all ages.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Crawford loves spending quality time with her family–her husband, two kids, and their cherished dogs, Paisley and Quinn. She enjoys local getaways and is always excited about home improvement projects.
