Jill Crawford, Medical Director
Following the completion of veterinary school, she elected to continue her education by partaking in a one year small-animal rotating veterinary Internship through VCA Encina Veterinary Medical Center (Walnut Creek, CA). Her desire to help animals only intensified and she decided to practice emergency and critical care veterinary medicine, before coming to Contra Costa Veterinary Hospital in 2013.
Since then, she has been the primary veterinarian and medical director of VCA Contra Costa Animal Hospital! She now has shifted her professional interest from emergency veterinary medicine to Ophthalmology, non-invasive Ultrasound diagnostics, and overall wellness care of pets of all ages.
During her time away from the hospital, Dr. Crawford especially enjoys spending time with her family (husband, two kids, and Paisley their family dog), local get-aways, and home improvement.
