Dr. Jessica Spotts joined VCA Far Country in 2021. She graduated with her Bachelor's in Animal Science from Oregon State University in 2008 and with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. 

Dr. Spotts moved up to Wasilla after graduation and practiced mixed animal medicine for a short time in Chugiak. She then went into small animal exclusive practice in Eagle River prior to relocating to Boise, Idaho in 2016. After five years in the lower forty-eight she is looking forward to settling back into Alaska life. 

Professional interests include wellness,  dentistry and surgery. 

Outside of work she enjoys all things outdoors, especially when shared with family and friends.
