Dr. Andrea Jensen earned her DVM at The Ohio State University in 2010. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Jensen completed her undergraduate work at the University of Washington and the Evergreen State College where she earned her B.S. in Biology.

Prior to attending Ohio State, she spent 11 years doing small animal rescue work and developing the first cat shelter in her home town with a team of local residents. After graduation, she spent 3 years doing emergency, critical care, and surgery at 24 hour facility in Ohio. She joined the VCA team in 2013 with a special interest in soft tissue surgery, emergency, and shelter medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Jensen's favorite pastimes include horseback riding and spending time with her family.
