Isabel was born and raised in Alaska. She has always had a deep love for animals of all kind. Growing up she helped train horses and volunteered for the Iditarod EKG and bloodwork program at a young age. From there she attended the veterinary assistant program at Mat-Su Career Tech High School. She has been in the veterinary field for five years, and mainly enjoys surgeries and hospitalized care.
Outside of work Isabel is an avid outdoorsmen. Isabel and her fiancé own a competitive Iditarod racing kennel consisting of 28 sled dogs, one German shepherd mutt, and a hairless guinea pig. Isabel enjoys horseback riding, volleyball, hiking, kayaking, and mushing dogs.
