Kendra joined VCA in August of 2018, and has jumped in with both feet. Originally from Harlingen Texas, Kendra grew up around many animals, and found her passion for them at a very young age.

In 2006, Kendra graduated from a technical school for business, and got hired at her first animal hospital as a receptionist. She followed her passion, and decided she wanted more hands on with the animals, and became a groomer in 2008. In 2011, she became the salon manager at Petco.

Being fascinated with the state of Alaska from a young age, her and her family relocated to our wonderful state in 2013, and she continued her work as a groomer. She has decided to further her experience in the animal world, and joined our team as a veterinary assistant, and is already eager to learn other areas of the hospital.

Fun fact: Kendra's dream is to one day purchase enough land to have a small farm, and she wants to own a donkey!
