Dr. Willey is originally from Northern Virginia. She obtained undergraduate degrees in New York and Florida and completed her doctorate in 2005 at Louisiana State University's School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Willey practiced at a veterinary hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada for over 13 years while working concurrently at the local animal shelter. During this time, she became the only veterinarian in the state of Nevada to perform nuclear medicine at the Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center and became certified in veterinary forensics.
Missing the familiarity and beauty of the east coast, Dr Willey and her small animal menagerie migrated to Georgia in 2017. Dr Willey especially enjoys senior pet care, feline medicine, and improving the quality of life of all pets and their people. Her goal is to help pets live the longest, pain-free lives possible.
