Dr. Li, a Bay Area native received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997 and her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine from Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.

After receiving her DVM degree, Dr Li completed one- year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Animal Specialty and Emergency (ASEC) in Los Angeles, CA. She then practiced emergency and critical care medicine in Houston, Texas for three years before returning to Ca in 2007 to join us here at VCA Care Specialty and Emergency Animal Hospital as an emergency and critical care doctor. 

Dr. Li's interests include management of gastrointestinal and toxicological emergencies

Her personal interests include reading, attempting to learn KPOP dances (but failing for the most part), obsessively cleaning her house and spending quality time with family, friends and Baguette, her French Bulldog
