General anesthesia allows your pet to remain completely unconscious, pain-free, and comfortable during surgical procedures and certain diagnostic treatments. Before anesthesia is administered, our veterinary team performs a thorough physical examination to determine if your pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia. Throughout the procedure, we closely monitor vital signs, including heart rate, breathing, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and temperature, to help ensure your pet's safety and well-being.
Examples of common surgeries include: spay (ovariohysterectomy), neuter (castration), mass removal and biopsy, histopathology, laceration repair, abscess and wound repair, enucleation (eye removal), cystotomy (removal of bladder stones), and skin biopsy.
