Dr. Jennifer Fay grew up in Michigan and developed an early interest in veterinary medicine by caring for her pets (cats, rabbits, and a horse) and helping rehabilitate wildlife at a nature center.
Dr. Fay earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University before entering the College of Veterinary Medicine there and earning her DVM degree in 1986.
Dr. Fay has special interests in neonatology, preventive medicine, and internal medicine. While mostly working with cats and dogs, Dr. Fay has also done some work with reptiles.
Dr. Fay is committed to continued learning and regularly attends professional education programs, including CE by the Sea and Best Practices San Antonio.
When Dr. Fay isn't caring for patients, she enjoys gardening, fishing, and genealogy. At home, Dr. Fay is kept busy taking care of personal pets (four cats, four dogs, and one duck) as well as taking care of a small colony of community cats.
