Dr. Jade Garcia was born and raised in South Texas. As a first-generation college student, she earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Texas A&M International University. She spent four years in California earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences.
During her time in California, Dr. Garcia developed a love for the outdoors. She now spends much of her free time hiking and camping with her two dogs, Rango, an Australian cattle dog, and Artichoke, a Lab mix.
Dr. Garcia is also working toward visiting all the national parks. She has visited five, with plenty more to explore. When she is not outdoors, she enjoys exploring the city, finding new places to visit, or relaxing at home with her dogs and a good book.
