Dr. Brian Young graduated with his veterinary degree from University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Upon graduation, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and completed a rotating small animal ER and Specialty internship from 2016-2017 with Nashville Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Young then moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado, to complete an Ophthalmology Fellowship with Colorado State University, finishing in 2019. 

He joined our team in 2022, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the Emergency team, but his primary interest is ophthalmology and will be expanding the service in the near future. 

Dr. Young loves all things Colorado and outside of the hospital, he enjoys hiking, camping, overlanding, fishing, etc. He also enjoys dabbling in woodworking.
