Amy Manwill
Staff Veterinarian DVM

Dr. Manwill grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. She's always felt bonded to animals and becoming a veterinarian was a childhood dream of hers. She wanted to be able to be there for animals like her own pets have always been there for her, so she left a 10-year career in real estate to pursue her dream. Dr. Manwill began shadowing in clinics and volunteering at an animal shelter while earning her associate's degree in biology from Salt Lake Community College. She then moved to Logan, Utah, to attend Utah State University on a scholarship where she earned her bachelor's degree in animal, dairy and veterinary science and was honored to be chosen as the USU College of Agriculture's valedictorian. She was accepted into WSU's WIMU program where she completed the first two years of veterinary school at Utah State University before moving to Pullman, Washington, to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at Washington State University.

As a veterinarian, Dr. Manwill advocates for the continued health of her patients by providing preventative health care such as diet recommendations, vaccinations, lab work and parasite prevention, as well as form diagnostic and treatment plans for pets with medical conditions. She is also interested in soft tissue surgery because of its ability to prevent and often cure certain diseases.

Dr. Manwill shares her life with her partner, Derek, and his two children. Their combined interests include hiking, camping, water sports, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family.

Dr. Manwill has two Boston terrier/pug mix dogs named Guinness and Olive. Guinness is a demanding mama's boy that requires a lot of belly scratches. Olive is an equally demanding, bossy, mama's girl that loves her "brother" Guinness and snuggling. They are both obsessed with blankets. She also has one Lynx Point Siamese cat named Ivan who she drove eight hours round-trip to adopt. He is an independent and mischievous weirdo that loves car rides and hiking.
