My name is Kyle Reijm (pronounced like the word "rhyme"). I grew up in an agriculture community on a cattle and hay farm in north western Washington. My first pet (after a few cows I had named) was a cocker spaniel named Charlie. He was diagnosed with diabetes when I was in 3rd grade. My parents allowed me to manage his diabetes with twice daily insulin injections. His disease was managed for around 3 years before passing at age 12. He was a very special dog to me, and I remember how grateful I was to the veterinarian for helping us take care of him. From then on, I wanted to be able to help other people take care of their special pets.

My fiancé (also a veterinarian) and I currently live in Coeur d'Alene and have two dogs named Kobe and Penny, and one cat named Pumpkin. We love the area for the endless opportunities to play outdoors. If we are not working, we are likely  hiking, fishing, or camping.
