Dr. Jessica Guirl was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and completed her bachelor's and veterinary degrees at Oklahoma State University. After graduating from veterinary school, she left Oklahoma for a rotating small animal internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Upon completing her internship, she decided to stay at VCA WLA and joined our Primary Care team!
Dr. Guirl enjoys the plethora of different cases she gets to see daily, but has a special interest in both puppy and kitten visits as well as geriatric care and chronic pain management.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing with her cat, Mochi, backpacking, weightlifting, traveling, and reading good books.
