Wellness Exams

A wellness exam is an overall general health assessment and complete physical examination. During a wellness exam, your veterinarian may also recommend additional testing including blood tests, urinalysis, parasite screening, and other diagnostic imaging. In many cases, a wellness examination can help detect the early stages of disease. Wellness exams are recommended at least annually for all pets, but more often (at least every 6 months) for senior pets and pets with chronic health issues. A wellness exam can help ensure your pet's health and detect early stages of disease.

You veterinarian will ask for a complete medical history of your pet. Be sure to bring a list of any questions you may have about your pet's health. Contact our hospital to schedule your pet's wellness exam today!
