Carla is a dedicated and compassionate veterinary professional with a lifelong commitment to caring for animals. From a young age, she was drawn to helping stray and injured animals, often bringing them home to provide comfort and care. This early passion evolved into a career focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
She began her professional journey when she joined Veterinary Referral and emergency center of Westbury in 2020 as a client service representative, where she spent two years building strong communication skills and ensuring clients received exceptional support. She then spent three years as a veterinary assistant, where she sharpened her technical expertise and delivered attentive, reliable care. Recently, Carla transitioned into her role as liaison for the Oncology services, where she plays a key role in supporting both pets and their families through compassionate and personalized care.
As a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, Carla continues to expand her skills, driven by a desire to protect and advocate for animals in need. She also has a special love for exotic animals, especially her beloved tarantula, reflecting her adventurous spirit and deep appreciation for all creatures.
Outside of work, Carla enjoys going to concerts, staying active by hitting the gym, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She also loves spending time with her French bulldog, Opie, who never fails to brighten her day.
