As the veterinary assistant supervisor at VREC Westbury, Nicole Rich brings over a decade of hands-on experience in animal care. Nicole began her journey at just 13, working at a local dog rescue. After 8 years in the rescue world, she transitioned into veterinary medicine, starting in general practice and later moving into specialty and emergency care. She joined the VREC team, where she now leads with compassion and expertise. Nicole shares her home with three beloved pets Sandy, Sassy, and Toothless all adopted through her work. Outside of the hospital, Nicole is an aerial hoop instructor and enjoys reading and hiking in the mountains.
