Dr. Chris Haverly was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and then attended Cornell University where he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Haverly has been practicing emergency and critical care medicine and soft tissue surgery in Northern Virginia since he graduating and has been a part of the Woodbridge Animal Hospital team since 2003. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, who is also a practicing veterinarian in Northern Virginia, and three children. His has two rescued dogs, a Labrador Retriever and Lhasa Apso, two cats, two snakes, chickens and fish. Dr. Haverly enjoys the outdoors and can often be found skiing, hiking, camping and kayaking with his family.
