Dr. Rifkin received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical fourth year at The University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists in Long Island, New York. After completion of her internship, Dr. Rifkin completed a residency in small animal internal medicine at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. She became board certified in small animal internal medicine in 2013. Dr. Rifkin's professional interests are in general internal medicine, and in particular, diseases of the liver, gastrointestinal disease, infectious disease, and immune-mediated disease.
