Dr. Kovac received her DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and subsequently completed a general rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California. This was followed by an oncology residency at The Ohio State University. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - Oncology. 
 
Dr. Kovac is a native Texan and received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at SMU here in Dallas (Go Mustangs!). She has two rescued canine pups, and enjoys CrossFit, gardening, cycling, and spending quality time with family & friends. She joined the VCA Animal Diagnostic Clinic staff in October 2018.
