Dr. Kovarsky was born and raised in Plano, Texas, and she is thrilled to finally be back home! She received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Texas A&M University. Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at BluePearl Specialty Animal Hospital in San Antonio. She then completed an internal medicine internship and residency at BluePearl Specialty Animal Hospital (Affiliated Veterinary Specialists) in Maitland, Florida. Dr. Kovarsky enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, but particularly enjoys endoscopic procedures, gastrointestinal diseases, hematology (disorders of the blood), and hepatology (disorders of the liver). At home, Dr. Kovarsky lives with her husband, two cats, and two small dogs. She enjoys traveling, crafting, attending sporting events and concerts, and playing trivia with friends.
