Dr. Brandy has been working in the veterinary field for 22 years. She graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2000 and then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Illinois in 2004. For the past 16 years, she has been with VCA Companion Care.
Dr. Brandy is passionate about educating clients on preventive care and behavioral health. She is also Fear Free Elite Certified, making her particularly skilled in working with pets that experience anxiety during their veterinary visits and in general.
Outside of work, Dr. Brandy enjoys activities related to dogs, including obedience training, agility, and trick dog training. She also loves kayaking and hiking. Dr. Brandy has two boxers named Gideon and Liam.
