Dr. Lori Wanninger is one of our wonderful veterinarians and the medical director at VCA Companion Care. She has been in the veterinary field for nine years and has been with us since 2017. Dr. Wanninger earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point before attending veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). In 2021, she was promoted to medical director.
Dr. Lori entered the veterinary field with a passion for working with animals and building lasting relationships with her clients, making general practice an ideal fit for her.
Outside of work, Dr. Lori enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, hunting, and fishing. She has a dog named Josie and two cats, Hopper and Eleven.
In the near future, Dr. Lori hopes to expand her knowledge in ultrasound imaging.
