Dr. Lori Wanninger grew up in West Bend, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and German from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2013. Dr. Wanninger then attended University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Her special interests are in surgery, ultrasound, and exotic pet medicine.

She is excited to be returning to central Wisconsin and joining the team at VCA Companion Care Animal Hospital. She enjoys living in the country with her husband and daughter. Their animal family consists of "Josie," a German Shorthair Pointer, her 2 cats, "Hopper" and "Eleven," "Pom Pom," her rooster, and many other chicken friends. Outside of work, Dr. Wanninger enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
