Hugo is our wonderful 13-year-old hospital cat who came to us in 2025 and needed a loving home. VCA Companion Care decided to take him in and start on his weight loss journey since he was very overweight. Hugo started at about 20 pounds, and over the last couple of years, we have gotten him down five pounds!
Hugo enjoys lots of attention and pets, treats and catnip, naps with his Spiderman blanket, and keeping all the technicians/assistants happy. He also enjoys working part-time at the biscuit factory and supervising the treatment area, but his main role is emotional support, which he does very well.
