Dr. Hampton was born in Pennsylvania, but raised in Binghamton, New York. She graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, where she conducted research on gene expression in chickens. After graduating, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida and spent the next four years working as a veterinary technician and kennel supervisor. Dr. Hampton is a recent graduate of the inaugural class of 2024 at Long Island University and is currently completing a small animal rotating internship here at VREC Westbury. She is passionate about exotic and zoo animal medicine and eventually hopes to specialize in one of these fields.
Dr. Hampton's favorite season is fall and she loves Halloween. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, knitting, baking, and of course, spending time with her dog, Peyton, and cat, Kitty Baby.
