Dr. Power is a New England native and graduate of Boston University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Her path to becoming a surgeon brought her throughout the northeast, starting with internships at Angell Animal Medical Center, Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, and VCA South Shore (Weymouth), and culminating in residency training at Veterinary Specialists of Rochester NY and Veterinary Referral Center of Malvern PA. Dr. Power is thrilled to be back with VCA here at VREC Westbury and enjoys the wide variety of procedures in veterinary surgery, with a particular fondness for orthopedics. Outside of work, she enjoys ice hockey and a slew of outdoor activities, including boating, hiking, camping, and snowboarding.
