Angela Ahlstrom, Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Angela Ahlstrom was born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Her love for animals started when she was very young and watched a caring veterinarian help her childhood dog through a medical scare. At that point, it became a goal to pursue a degree in in Veterinary Medicine and be able to care for all animals including those with scales and feathers
Dr. Ahlstrom attended the University of Wisconsin where she obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine. She then went into private private/exotic practice in West Virginia.
Outside of work, Dr. Ahlstrom enjoys hiking and camping and also cooking and trying new foods. She has recently moved to Utah with her husband, Ian, 2 rescue kittens-Paxton and Musetta and a budgie-Petrie.
Dr. Ahlstrom looks forward to exploring all the great hiking and exploring Utah has to offer. She also looks forward to working in VCA Willow Creek Pet Center’s collaborative environment and growing the exotic pet care program.
