Josie Drayton
Medical Director/Intern Director MS, DVM

Dr. Drayton completed a B.S. in Animal Science at UC Davis and received her Master's in Animal Science and Nutrition from North Carolina State University. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota and finished her emergency focused rotating internship at Pet Emergency and Specialty Center. She is our Medical Director, Intern/Emergency Mentorship Director and is certified in both Fear Free practices and RECOVER CPR. 

Dr. Drayton's areas of focus include surgery, metabolic disease, toxicology and client education, and includes a passion for teaching these topics to future veterinarians. When she isn't caring for her furry friends, Dr. Drayton enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, and especially chasing her two beautiful children, and her dog, Dodger, around at the beach.
