Josie Drayton
Medical Director/Intern Director MS, DVM

Dr. Drayton completed a B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis and received her Masters in Animal Science and Nutrition from North Carolina State University. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota and finished her emergency focused rotating internship at Pet Emergency and Specialty Center. She is currently our Intern/Emergency Mentorship Director and has certifications in both Fear Free and RECOVER CPR.

Dr. Drayton’s areas of interest include surgery, metabolic disease, toxicology and client education. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, learning how to surf, playing trivia or board games, baking, and knitting. One of her favorite things to do is spend time with her dog, Dodger, at the dog beach. Dr. Drayton also has three cats who run the house and a husband who is very understanding of their ever increasing number of fur children.
