Dr. Kierstin Washington is a dedicated and passionate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She began her academic journey at Spelman College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2020, she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and began her career just as the pandemic hit in March 2020. During this challenging time, Dr. Washington skillfully managed a significant influx of animal cases, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of conditions. Her particular interests lie in internal medicine and surgery, with surgery being her utmost passion. She treats all animals with the utmost care and precision. Dr. Washington also has a keen interest in public health, which led her to complete a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in August 2024. She is thrilled to be joining the exceptional team at VCA Columbia and looks forward to providing exceptional care to your beloved pets.
