Krista started her career with VCA as a veterinary assistant intern before joining the team as a veterinary assistant in August 2023. She has approximately five years of experience in the veterinary field and earned an associate's degree in Veterinary Science. Krista is currently working toward her Veterinary Technology certification and is always looking for opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills.
She enjoys building lasting relationships with families and their pets while helping support them through difficult times. Krista is also Fear Free Certified, allowing her to provide a calmer, less stressful experience for pets who may be anxious during their visit.
Outside of work, Krista enjoys reading, crocheting, and painting. She also has two cats, Baxter and Buster.
In the future, Krista plans to take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) to earn her Veterinary Technology certification. She also hopes to further her knowledge of animal behavior as a specialty.
