Shayla graduated from NTC with a degree in veterinary science and worked as a veterinary assistant for many years before obtaining her CVT license. Shayla has 11 years of experience in the field and has been with VCA for seven years. She enjoys educating pet parents about veterinary medicine and has a passion for ultrasound imaging and surgery.
Outside of work, Shayla enjoys hiking, going on adventures with her dogs, road trips, music, and spending time with family and friends. She has two dogs, Bo Peep and Ramona, and three cats, Scruffy, Lu and Tiptoe.
In the future, Shayla would love to expand her skills in ultrasound imaging.
