Dr. Seren Lanza joined the VCA Darien Animal Hospital in August 2009. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 2008. Dr. Lanza completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the VCA Veterinary and Referral Centers in Norwalk and Shelton, CT. She has a special interest in internal medicine and enjoys soft tissue surgery and performing ultrasounds. 

Outside of work, her 2 young sons, husband and Boston Terrier, Steven, keep her busy. She enjoys spending time hiking, swimming and travelling (mostly to the West Coast or anywhere warm and sunny) with her family. She also has two adopted cats, Mondo and Carl.
