The friendly, professional staff at VCA Animal Hospital is made up of dedicated individuals who have made it their mission to help pets live long, healthy lives. To be true to the mission, the hospital team relies on several individuals, each equally important in helping us deliver the best patient and client experience for both you and your pet. Team Spotlight

Michael Ragan

Medical Director

Dr. Ragan came to the Darien Animal Hospital in September 2007 after graduating from Veterinary school at Virginia Tech. Originally from Canton, NY, he graduated from Colgate University having majored in biology and geography. He is excited to be back in the Northeast again, able to spend time with friends and family. In his free time he can often be found hiking in the Adirondack Park or rowing his newly acquired guideboat on local waters.

Gregory Wash

Hospital Manager

Greg has been working at the Darien Animal Hospital since 1994. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2000 at Albertus Magnus College. Greg loves spending time with his 2 dogs and 2 Cats. Greg is hard to reach on Sundays during football season as he is a die hard Los Angeles Rams fan.
