Christina grew up in Northern California, where she had the opportunity to work at her local animal shelter as an adoption counselor and she realized her passion of helping animals in need. Christina volunteered her time outside of work as a member of the North Valley Animal Disaster Group and the Feather River Feline Rescue Group.

In 2020, Christina and her husband made their home in Alaska and continue to find ways to help furry friends in need with their family of one dog and two cats.
