Dr. Mallory Kanwal graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree with honors in Animal Science in 2013. She then stayed at Ohio State and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2017. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Kanwal completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine, emergency, and surgery at VCA Great Lakes. Dr. Kanwal then moved to Illinois to pursue a three-year residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. She completed her residency and became a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College as a board certified veterinary dentist.

Dr. Kanwal has special interests in juvenile and preventative care dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Kanwal enjoys hiking Cuyahoga Valley National Park, kayaking, taking her Labrador to Edgewater Park and spending time with her partner and family.
