Dr. Vanessa Pisano has been with the VCA family for 21 years. She is one of the rare South Florida natives that was born and raised in Miami! Reluctantly she left her home to obtain a degree in Microbiology and attend Veterinary school at the University of Florida. She returned to South Florida to do an internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital and then started her career with VCA. Special interests are surgery, ophthalmology, and acupuncture. Dr. Pisano's hobbies are reading, hiking, skiing and embarrassing her husband and son! She is the very proud owner of her dogs Maia and Khaleesi, cats Othello and Desdemona, and 9 rats.
