Dr. Morgan Thomas joined VCA 4Paws family in the summer of 2020.

Dr. Morgan Thomas grew up in Arizona with a love of veterinary medicine that was sparked from an early age caring for various family pets which included rabbits, ferrets, rodents/small mammals, dogs, cats, snakes, fish, and chickens. She competed collegiately in cross country and track at the NCAA Division II level while earning her undergraduate degrees double majoring in Biology and Chemistry.

Dr. Thomas is a member of the San Diego County Veterinary Medical Association (SDCVMA), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). Her medical interests include toxicology, emergency/critical care medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Thomas completed her degree in Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences graduating with Honors. During that time she was also very active and held leadership roles in various clubs including: Zoo, Wildlife, Exotics, Aquatics, Conservation Club (ZWEACC), Research & Surgery Clubs, and Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA). She also spent time volunteering with Spay/Neuter Project of Los Angeles (SNPLA), CatNippers, and Denver Dumb Friends League.

When she is not at VCA 4 Paws, Dr. Thomas enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking/baking, and spending time with her family and rescue kitty, Grey.
