Dr. Cieply grew up south of Chicago and received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from U of I. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She has worked at VCA Ark for ten years developing her skills while cultivating the lasting relationships that make this job so rewarding. She became the Medical Director at VCA Ark Animal Hospital in 2016 and enjoys internal medicine and dentistry. She is a member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Cieply loves to spend time with her pets: a five-year-old Chihuahua named Frida Marie, a three-year-old Boston Terrier named Professor Squiggy, a ten-year-old Yorkie mix named Gigi, and a Beta Fish named Snacks. Beyond devoting her time to animals, Dr. Cieply likes to watch sports, travel, and play golf.
